Fun at Grandma's

Every Monday Jacob and his dad play in a golf league. I decided to take Sam over to Grandma's so he could play outside. They have a huge yard, plenty of room to run. He would rather play ball with Grandma then run around.

Look at the drool!

He only has a few more teeth left. I can't believe how much he has grown. He now says several words. Ball and Hi are his two favorites. He says gope for grape, and baha for bannana. Bye Bye, here ya go, Ready go, Mama of course is probably the most said word and da da. He gives 5 and is starting to count in his own way. His new daycare is working out wonderfully and he is only 5 minutes from my job.

Having Fun

Weekend with Mama

Jacob had to work all weekend, so it was Sam and I. We went to a park in Meridian and had so much fun. Sam thinks everything is a basketball hoop. He tried to shoot his ball in all the swings and the trash can. Note to self- be aware of the baby swings, Sam now has bruises on the inside of his legs from the swing below.

I'd rather watch Little Einstein's

I love the pic of Sam laughing with his hands over his mouth. Jacob was trying to play with him, but he would rather watch Little Einstein's. He looks so big with his haircut. We went to a place called Monkey Dooz. He sits in a car and they have it decorated. Each station has a TV and they play Disney movies. I never thought I would pay 14$ for a little boy haircut, but the experience is well worth it.

Little Swimming Pool

Last summer we bought this little pool to put in our yard. Sam is probably too big for it now. It was so hot last Friday that I thought it might be nice to play in the water. Sam just sat there, he didn't know what to do, not much room to move around. We can't wait to go to his great grandma's and swim in her big pool.

Sleeping like my daddy!

Sam is just like his daddy. They both sleep with one arm over their head.

Being a Mama

Being a mom has changed my life. My heart is fuller, my mind is expanded, my patience has grown longer and my fears have exceeded. My Sam has been sick most of his little life and this has caused alot of worry, stress and learning. I know that he will be fine and that he needs to build up his immunity. The stress of being a working mom is sometimes unbearable. Srength and faith, along with my Grandma's wisdom gets me through it. I am not alone and find it comforting to hear stories from other working mom's. Finding balance in it all has been my focus. To let go of the fear, go into the faith and love my family is what I am striving to do daily. Being a mom has been an incredible experience and has challanged me. I will find the balance, faith and strength. Oh, and have fun too!
